Having taken another look at it, I saw a scene almost identical to that while walking the permissive footpath fron St. Benets to Ludham Bridge on Sunday.

Hmmm. The question was 'from where is it taken', not 'what's it a picture of'. I think it may be from the south end of the How Hill moorings, looking east down the bank across to the pond, which appears to be partially ornamental and in the grounds of a nearby property.
