Here's one specifically for all the Sailing Types...

I've given one of these yachts a serious handicap with my graphics tablet...

What have I done ?

Sorry to be pedantic Paul, but that's a half-decker, not a yacht (a Yare & Bure One Design, or White Boat, to be precise).  As shown in the picture, on starboard tack, it doesn't have a huge problem.  But once it goes about, the mast is not likely to stay up for very long with no port shroud...

Wow, hats off to you Bill,  Chapter & Verse....

And I stand duly corrected on the YBOD definition...

Here's the same photo before I lightened the boat.

It was this year's race, just before the Ludham Bridge guard boat turn.

Sorry to be a smart a**e.  Have you got any more photos from this year's 3 rivers?

I didn't think that at all Bill...  Smile

I took 59, all at the Ludham Bridge section.

Are you interested in any particular boat ?
(the thumbnails are crunched down in quality so that I don't use up all of Richard's bandwidth !)

** oops, sorry, that went wrong, I've overlapped the thumbnails.  Give me a moment and I'll do it again without any duplicates.... ****

** Don't bother opening this thumbnail image, it's rubbish ! Please view the one in my next post instead **

Yes, river cruiser 368, which I'm pretty sure you've got three times.  They all look like great photo's though; is there any way you can let me have copies?  Or maybe you could post them in the gallery?

That's better..
(More haste, less speed. No duplicates this time and a bit sharper....)

I'll have a look for 368 Bill, you're welcome to copies if I have. The originals are 2000x1500, so much better than I can reasonably post on the web.

Yes, I was helming.  We had a disastrous start as a result of the topsail getting jammed whilst hoisting, the repercussions of which are clear in this photo to those in the know... I wish that one was a digital alteration, wouldn't be quite so embarrassing.  Anyway, I think we feature in row 6 images 3, 4, 5 and 6 and row 7, image 3 of your thumbnail gallery so copies of those would be great; is email best?
