I’m sure if the binners where were City are they would lord it over us at every opportunity, you should have heard them when we were relegated.

One work colleague had the audacity to describe Ipswich as one of the big clubs.
And some Leeds fans have done little to ingratiate themselves with fans of the so called small clubs in div 2&3 sorry Championship and 1.

That said I know there are many genuine and decent Leeds fans and somewhere I’m sure there are one, possibly two decent town fans (just kidding)

Having been thro the Roeder years and felt the agony of relegation we are making the most of our current success.

Now for the bit I may regret, I have confidence in my team I’m prepared to bet the Leeds fans £50.00 that’s fifty pound Norwich finish higher than they do.
(Fingers crossed that no one takes me up on this)

All moneys going to the forum coffers or a charity of the forums choice.

Truth is if we finish in the top ten I will be happy, didn’t expect in my wildest dreams we would have the season we have, to be fair I thing all the promoted teams this season have done really well.

joking apart i think your assessment of norwich is pretty close to that which i hold for leeds, i would have settled for a top half finish at the start of the season but would still be over the moon having a bit of a go in the play offs, if we can sort that leaky defence we may even better that!! i actually dont mind norwich & even wanted them to go up with us last season maybe not in that order but at least we got out of that awful division eventually.

Graham you have a point when we were relegated it felt like the end of the world (non football fans won’t understand that comment) thought we were in some sort of football purgatory.
I don’t know if you where in a position to attend many away game, me and my son have been avid away followers for the last six years, we thought some of the grounds where quite nice to visit.
We met allot of really nice fans who you have to admire for following clubs with little chance of success.
So my point is yes an awful league but not as bad as I thought it would be.
I have been to Elland Rd a couple of times I suspect it’s a different place when it’s sold out, enjoyed both trips maybe we will return when you join us in the prem, fingers crossed.

I am with Graham on this would have been happy for a top
half finish and yes i was also pleased Norwich went up.
If big if we get to the holy grail of the Premiership i
hope we don.t become a yoyo club or we spend money we
have not got and then spend the next few years scrimping
and scraping.
Elland Road full is a special place.

Going up up up

Nine to go and we are pulling away,ok I know it’s only a small gap but I’m going to enjoy this whilst it lasts.
Own up, be honest who would rather there team be where Norwich are today rather than where they are?

i must say your looking good for 2nd at the moment and seem to regularly score late goals but you should be a little wary of what happened to swansea when they hit 2nd spot. Wink

Now you’ve gone and spoilt it, I just can’t see the point in cricket.
Now if you had said motorcycle racing that would be different.

This league is going to the wire, any of the top ten could still make playoffs or the second spot.
Come on you yellows.

Tut, tut, tut...  Smile
People from Leeds do not always get it wrong.
I am a totally convinced atheist. But if there was a God, inventing Cricket would have been his activity on the seventh day... (he may even have had time to invent Rugby Union also).
As a general sports fan I follow Football too.

But Motorcycle racing...
In my view anything that has an engine involved or any other variable that can allow the second best to consistently win, struggles to meet the criteria of the word "sport".
Surely sport should be about the skill, fitness, mental strength etc of the players rather than their equipment.
I accept that this is not a universally held view but no one has ever given me an convincing argument against it.
Each to their own I guess.

The money over skill argument it does happen no denying when you can afford the best it's a definite advantage.
Now if any one has ever heard of Andy Burton (rally driver) you will see where this goes, Andy built his own rally car a very special peugeut 306 with a silly engine (sorry but memory has blanked) Andy won lots of races with this car and beat many works cars, they protested that his car does not confirm to holomagation i.e not in any partciular group so his car is going to have to stop and all becuase he can beat the money men, British rallying used to great at this but it now is becoming very expensive and why historic rallying is gaining in popularity.
