Jenny Morgan, A vane, a boat, but not a bird. The Broads is NOT a National Park.

Certainly not, by anybody's stretch of the imagination, a part of the Norfolk Broads - National Park or not!
I've spent most of my money on Women, boats and beer - the rest I needlessly squandered. Poppy

I beg to differ! Carrow Road is right beside Carrow Bridge wot spans the river, and as for Donny and The Tractor Boys, half of them are on the Broads most summer weekends!

I was, of course JM referring to the 'dung heaps' in Suffolk and South Yorkshire mentioned in the thread title!

I think Poppy is still on the Christmas sherry. Norwich is the capital of the broads (well I do have a stretchy imagination, could be all that whery) How many other football grounds can you moor alongside on your broad’s holiday? As they say in Norfolk, Do different.

At one time, I was a football fanatic, season ticket holder at BDTBL, had an executive box there for a few seasons, sponsored games, the whole works. Then several years ago I "fell out of love" with the game which was no longer Football but just a means of giving vast amounts of money to a bunch of over rated prima donnas. I took a look at the link provided by JM showing the Championship table,(the 1st time in years) and was amazed to see Doncaster Rovers the highest placed team form Yorkshire, (before you say it, I know Leeds (scum) are higher but even now I can't acknowledge them as a footall team). This is a situation I could never have envisioned happening in my life time. Now this in no way is meant as an insult to Doncaster Rovers who I applaud on their efforts (despite yet another unusal shall we say ownership)but I think it more a reflection of the harm that has been done to football by the introduction of Maxwells billions! Dave If it is to be it is up to me!

As an avid Donny Rovers fan. if one looks at the number of games played, Donny are potentially above the scumbags ('Mighty' leeds indeed) I'm planning to visit Carrow Rd for the game in February staying onboard 'B.A' overnight at Wroxham btw Griff
