I posted on here a couple of weeks ago but no responses, Has anyone been fishing of late and what has it been like? i am especially looking at the Potter Heigham area any reports would be helpful. Thanks
Hi, plenty of small stuff coming out, was at Potter opposite HW middle of last week mixed bag on float down the edge, I didnt get a chance to fish feeder so no idea with Bream.
Not the Northern Broads but hubby went up river of Beccles Bridge last week and on maggots caught lots of small silver fish and one reasonable Perch. Not that that helps you at Potter but there fish about.
Many fishermen keep quiet as to what they have caught and where. I made the mistake last year when I had a good catch in a certain spot and spoke to somebody who must have blabbed it all over the place.
When I came back a week later there was a bathtub moored there for quite a time and they fished the place out. When I finally managed to get moored there I did not even have a bite. I would not mind but it is a wild mooring and I have never seen boats moored there until then.
Next time I am asked I will just smile and say I have only had a couple of tiddlers.
