So I went fishing at Woodbastick last Friday decided to do a bit of stick float fishing !!! Bloody pike in the swim !! Managed to catch this one on 3.2 lb main line 2.2lb hook length on a 16 hook ,had to land it with a spoon landing net It took me 30 minutes to land it . The guy fishing near me reckoned ir weighed in at around 20 LB

Lovely looking fish,.congratulations.Difficult to say whether it's a potential 20lb'er or not but well done anyway, especially on such light tackle!.

Judging the size from the leaves I would guess it around 22"-24" long which would put it in the 10-12lb range, nice fish pity you have no unhooking mat, laying it on hard ground like that will do the fish no good at all.
