Can't see it written anywhere, but do children under 12 not require a licence at all - are are they forbidden from fishing?

If you'd clicked on Marshman's link about four posts back and read the information, you would have seen that under-12s don't need a licence.

Thanks for the answers, my 2 are 7 and 8 so it looks like we wont need a licence at all for them just the one for me.

Thanks, Pally. Serves me right for (still) being naive enough to assume that any site other than the definitive one would carry full information. I should know wbetter, especially consideringt that I seem to have spent as much time on US and UK fact checking sites as I have spent on mainstream political news sites for the last month or so.
