Not sure what's happened but an incredible week fishing.
Every fish I pulled out (probably 2 dozen over four days) was a bream in excess of 4lbs, largest 6.5lbs.
No perch and hardly any roach.   I think the bream must be on steroids!!  I have been fishing there now for 12 years and never anything like this. My neighbour who has rented the property next to us for over eight years, fishing morning, noon and night made a similar comment.
For those with an interest in such things, I was using 8mm pellets on a banded hair on one rod, and worm with a feeder on the other rod.   Both caught about the same.

Until my neighbour showed me I have never thought of using pellets and a hair rig, but it really worked!

Hi Simon,

Whereabouts on Womack were you fishing. A couple of the crew are keen fishermen and I intend being around Womack by boat on the 15th of this month. Cheers

Kind Regards
Alan...
