I am not much of a fisherman myself but most of the guests at my holiday chalet in Horning are. One of them is coming for the third time as his week's visit last year resulted in a haul of 52 pike weighing up to 18 lbs each. Can anyone beat that?

I wonder how many times the same poor fish was dragged out exhausted.

Captain Howe.

The Eagle may soar majestic,

Please leave the water and
banks as you would wish to
find them.

That's a very good point but he did seem to know what he was a doing (he told me for instance how important it was to put fish back  gently and upright so they didn't become disoriented) and they certainly weren't all the same ones. But you do have a point and I can't understand why people fish for the inedible anyway.
