Managed to grab a few hours last night. Fished the
lower Waveny at Somerleyton. Fished in the reeds to the
left of the moorings. Had a dozen nice roach between 6
to 12 oz each and a bonus small chub around 8 oz. First
time I have ever caught a chub from this venue.
Corn and worm. I had forgot just how fast the flow was
as I have not fished here for the last few seasons.
Not particualy outstanding but thoroughly enjoyable all
the same.
Only thing to spoil it was the constant LOUD music and
foul language from one of the boats and the total
disrespect for each other from some of the boats trying
to moor where they clearly had no right or the room.
I can not believe that the rest of the boats put up
with it.
