Hello Carol

I’ve been looking forward to the launch of you web site for a few weeks now.  I did intend to sort out some of my old photographs and send them over to you, but unfortunately I have been a little busy.

Congratulations you have produced an excellent piece of work, it’s good to see someone promoting the Broads in a positive way. I’m sure you will get lots of visitors.

Blake

Fantastic.
Memories of how it used to be, and could be again.

Trust me, I'm not a Doctor

As opposed to the Broads Authority, you mean?

Carol, excellent work & I hope you manage to keep building upon it.

Hi

Crumbs ..... I'm overwhelmed!  Blush

Thank you all so much for your kind words, I don't know quite what to say. This has really become a labour of love, and I truly hope that others will now come forward and contribute material so that this can grow into a comprehensive picture of Broadland over the last 120 years or so.

I was actually so nervous about launching this tonight .... it was almost like sitting and waiting for the headmasters report after handing my homework in!

Many thanks!

Carol

Great site Carol, but I hope it’s not too popular Evil Grin  I don’t want any more competition! Playful Wink

I’m off now to have another look around. Oh, and I'll add a link on BroadsNet, the more links to your site the higher the rating on Google.

Good luck and thanks for all your hard work.

Hi Carol,

Really great site, will not know how to spend my time now, so much to see and read. I know, I'll retire early so I can spend all day through the winter viewing all the wonderful Broads websites Smile

More scans on the way soon as I have now bought my own 35mm slide/negative capable scanner.

Great stuff

John and Anne Morris

P.S. Photo is of "Broadsventure" at Geldeston in 1968.

Quick, how many blasts was it for "I am manouvering with difficulty" !!!

Carol

This is a wonderful venture, the site is fantastic, and to think this is just the beginning.  Scared

I know you and others have put a vast amount of time and effort into it, and like anything new, worried yourself silly over it, but it's paid off big time.

As we all know, the Broads needs as much help as it can get at the moment, as long as there are people like you, Craig, Howard, Richard, Paul, and all the other web site owners out there promoting how great it is, the real magic of the place will spread, and our little bit of heaven will stay alive.
