Hi all. Does anyone know what has happened to Hunters website? Just tried to have a look and its not there! Really just wanted to see whether there has been any progress with the new boat. Nige.

Doubt if it's your machine. I think they're hosted by Btinternet. Could BT be blocking your ISP for some reason? Can't see anything broken on the Hunters site. They should be getting on with the new boat now that the hire season is well under way, but there's nothing on the website. when I was there at the end of April they hadn't started any work this year, as they were still doing winter maintenance on some of the half deckers. I do know some one who has a provisional booking of her for next easter, so they must be reasonably optimistic about finishing this summer.

Thanks Robin for the info on the new one, was just curious. Have they named her or are they still waiting till she`s finished? You may be right about the BT thing! I wonder if they got wind that I dropped them in favour of another service? Nige.

The more the merrier. And don't forget James, if the bug gets you, then Hunters do a 2 hour skippered sail. As for the name Nige, they've all along said they won't announce it until she's finished. There's loads of suggestions been published in the friends magazine though. I think my favourite suggestion is probably Lutine. It fits well with the naming convention of the others (beginning with LU) and it has significant links with the wider world of offshore sailing.
