Like that. Does anyone live by the water to test how accurate their measurements are? Or is this "just" another prediction site? (cynical? me? sometimes!!)
Gary. Cantley Computers At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.

Gary C - I think your cynicism may be unfounded in this particular case. To me, it looks like the readings are directly from the E.A. river gauges, but with a longer history shown than the E.A. site. This makes it easier to see trends in the levels, and have a better idea of what the river level might be like in a day or two. But you don't get something for nothing, in that you it's quite hard to see the time within the day when the level is best, which is clear from the E.A. website. For those that don't know it, here is the page of the readings for Repps: http://apps.environment-agency.gov.uk/river-and-sea-levels/riverstation.aspx?StationId=6217& Note that when the reading is 0.5m, there is 6ft under the bridge. At the moment, the reading is going between about 0.32 and 0.25m, giving 6ft 7in to 6ft 10 in at the bridge.
