What's that on the fore-deck?.

Seems very useful to me, despite not allowing for tacking or stopping for a bevvy in calculating the E.T.A.

Interesting to note that Gt Yarmite has been relegated, as it should, to a plain and simple Yarmouth

Jenny/ Peter, Please, Please, as a man where the real "Yarmouth IOW" is so close to my heart don't shorten the Norfolk pretender!
Actually I love Great Yarmouth! If you are prepared to walk seven to nine miles in a day, visit the museums, read the boards, get behind the arcades of the sea front by one street and look up at the wonderful buildings, then a whole new aspect is discovered. Great Yarmouth has as rich a history as any port in the UK.

“Gt Yarmite has been relegated, as it should, to a plain and simple Yarmouth”

And it’s listed as having “All usual facilities of a large town” - for some of us that means taking the missus to Café Cru or Ladies Night at the Racecourse where she can dress up to the nines, for others it means taking the missus for a walk down Regent Road and moaning about it on here.

Back to the plot, confusion between The Rushcutters (Arms) and The Reedcutter.

Nice website, with a great deal of information to assist boaters.

We are having our new website sorted at the moment so will be happy to add a link etc.

Joking aside, Gt Yarmite is great for a day out, just wouldn't want to live there! As for the river at Yarmouth, have heard it described as many things, but never nice!
