The next winter walk will be on the 11th of November. It will be High Mill Hill and Horsefen. Meet outside Throwers at 2.00pm. This walk can be muddy. The December walk is on the 9th. Again meet Throwers at 2.00pm. This time it is How Hill. Sorry, I don't know by which route. It might be Wilgress Loke, but it could be via Whitegates or some other way. Nigel

Hi Nigel Lovely to see to back on the forum and many, many congratulations on the Ludham Archive website. As a 'newbie' in Ludham it is lovely to see the old photos and how things 'used to be'. Well done.
Kind Regards Willow

Fascinating website. I shall return to it fairly often. I see that the old post office next to the churchyard gate has 'Throwers' above the door. About ten years ago wasn't this an antique shop displaying lots of brass?

Excellent site Nigel and well worth your hard work. I certainly learnt a lot about Ludham that was new to me. The archive photographs are fascinating.

Hi All Thanks for your encouraging comments about the site. There is more to be added and I will be doing this over the next couple of months, so keep looking in. Clive - The old post office was managed by the Throwers for many years. This is another branch of the Thrower family from the one which runs the village store. Since then, it was an antiques shop and a restaurant for a while before becoming a private house. Everyone is welcome at meetings of the Ludham Archive Group and on the winter walks. Details on the website. Nigel Ludham
