I was intrigued by your ill fated move to cat field comment. I was within a nats breath of ordering a 22 aft cabin from them at cat field just befor e they closed . I thought it was a great option for a reasonable price and I thought the pod on the stern for the outboard version was a master stroke. I have always thought my dithering saved me a lot of subsequent heartache but never really understood what happened to the company . I did think they seemed to be trying to do too many things at once as they were also agents for a range of sailing boats and polish day launches at the time. Never seemed to be much actual boat building going on whenever I visited.
You have hit the nail very square on the head. I went along with a friend who was interested but they seemed only interested in their agency, he then went back some three weeks later and the work in progress had not moved at all. He gave up and bought a Viking. There was a newish 21 for sale at Broadsedge for literally years that never got it's required warranty done everyone felt sorry for the couple who bought nothing but trouble. Personally I think you did well not to get involved.
The Eagle may soar majestic, but you don't suck a Stoat into your jet engines. Please leave the water and banks as you would wish to find them.
