Hi all, anybody know when or where the next broads boat jumble is? I went to one at Horning last year, exellent, need a few bits. Mud weight, antifoul paint, fenders. Cheers Stewart PS sorry for the unusual photo. New addition to the crew.

Hi Stewart, I believe the Woods Dyke Auction, which is held the first or second Thursday of each month has now ended until the start of the next season. Will try and find out the exact date for the first one, which, being the first of the year is held on a Saturday. This is the one I find the best as a lot of gear turns up after the winter refit on boats!! Later on during the year, think March or April is the Norfolk Boat Jumble held at the Norfolk Showground, and every now and again there is a small jumble held at The Museum of the Broads, usually on a Sunday. Aaah....Bless! (That's to the photo, not the boat jumble by the way) Bern, you're mean In my experience there's enough that annoys cats already without introducing something else. Like not being given fresh food EVERY hour, like being hauled off of the curtains for the 15th time that day, like owners not being delighted by the live rat that they have just let go in your kitchen...etc etc Carol

He is a she, Lucy,Caviler King Charles Spaniel and a typical woman. Sorry male shovanist pig comment. At the moment the cat is chasing her. Back to the boat jumble. Could do with a weekend sale as I live 200 miles away. Stewart

Everyone's already answered with all of the Jumbles & Auctions that I know about, the only thing I would add is that the twice yearly event at the Bure Valley railway car park at Wroxham is an auction, not a jumble. (And although past sales have been pretty good, the last Autumn one wasn't very good at all, with a much reduced choice of lots. I think eBay is taking it's toll there as at Woods Dyke....)
