Taken last month, the track beside the moorings on the bend. What a difference a year makes!

Mmmm slightly unfair Marshy, the comments I think were about the so called pollarding of the trees on the bankside, this pic is taken from a very different perspective.

The pollarded trees are already sprouting nicely, not a good shape at the moment but soon will be fine. Before you ask, sorry, no pictures.

We were there on Sunday and walked from the furthest mooring to the village. Almost needed a machete to get through!

The willows are indeed sprouting again and as Fishers Haven says, a bit of an odd shape.

We moored on the bend yesterday and walked along the footpath, almost impassable with thistles and other spiky plants.A fortune spent on gravelling the path and almost impassable,in another year you won't be able to pass along it at all.All the fishing platforms overgrown too because no one can get to them.A terrible thing to happen to what were once lovely moorings
