There's been some talk about Coltishal Lock on another thread.
There are two junctions as you get towards the end.
One takes you to the Horstead Mill - you donot require that route on the left.
The other is on the right.
You will see why you dont want the left route to the mill from this video.
The second half of the video is the end of navigation or the right hand route.

Hi,
Is the camera set on a motorized gimbol as you would have on say a quadcopter?
Regards
Bazza

The answer is YES. Both the drone and the high level pole are fitted with gimbals.

Had my first kayak trip on a lovely sunny day yesterday.
Fits on the side of the boat OK and better to handle and more comfortable than my inflatable one.

Paul, can I have a quick guess as to where you are moored?

Are you on the small northern arm that links the Ant to Barton Turf
ie your stern is facing Barton turf?

PS where did you get that extending camera pole from?
I assume it's an aerial mounting one.

best regards, Richard.
I can't wait to be back on the Broads.

Hi Rustic, Yep. That is Paddy's Lane, stern facing the boat yard at Coxes.
The Hi Level Pole mount I use on the Freeman is a modified ( I,m an engineer - dont hold it against me  lol ) TV pole from a caravan centre. three parts so gives me about 12 foot above the boat. The mount on the Kayak is a short version I made.  Just making a stablized mount for the kayak fitting, but that will just be a counter balance type.  Nothing special like the Drone or pole gyro ones.

It was the bark chippings that led me to that conclusion, and also the narrow width of the river at that point.

I like the way that the BA are now using luminous buttons each side of the mooring posts. I first noticed these at Sutton Staithe.
They really work well at night.

best regards, Richard.
