As some of you know, I enjoy kayaking on the Broads and the other day I thought I would see how easy it was to get back into or onto one if you fall off. Well the first attempts were not very good and I did not get back on. So I had another thought and did JUST manage to get on - and off - eventually with some "engineering" bits to help. Anyway this will show you how I did it.
On a more serious note, the Sheringham - Holt trains were running again for the 40's weekend. Not as good or busy this year due - I guess - to the cooler weather and less exhibitions being allowed to come.
Dont worry about laughing at the kayaking, I still crease up when I see it too lol. I was at the side dyke at Gayes Staithe. A bit of blue green alga first thing in the morning but I was determined to have another go at getting back on, especially as the weather would be cooling off.
There was a serious side to it - wouldn't think so - but I wanted to be sure that I could get back on - which I eventually did thanks to a lot of thought and a few bit of engineering on my part.
