my good lady and I only found this site yesterday...joined immediately. I am massively impressed with the content and the knowledge and friendliness of fellow members. Nice to know there are others as mad about Norfolk as us. I have a simple question, when does the "rank" of Newbie change? Is it simply post related? I know I'm new to the site but I've been a Broadland groupie for 25 years from both the hire boat side and now the private owner side. Not complaining...just wondered how it works...Thanks

Dibbler,

Welcome. I think the Newbie bit changes after ten posts.

Regards

I very much hope there are never any darft questions on this site, just the odd silly ole' buffers, me included, who sometimes give stupid answers to questions perfectly well put. Don't let anyone put you off asking there are probably half a dozen more thinking just the same

You don't have to tell us anything my Brother in Law has a boat on the upper Thames  Bill...

only the webmaster knows the titles, and posting levels, and he's not saying Smile

There are no daft questions, I know very little about the Broads compared with all of the experts here, but I'll guess that even they learn things here that they didn't know.

Hi Coriolis,

I don't use a saily boat, cos I can't take pictures of hireboats and man a sail boat at the same time (not very impressive I know!
