I'm in the process of putting together things that forum members might like want to purchase. Hopefully at a fair price, while also helping cover some of the costs of the forum. To date I've been using an American company to do this, and while they are ok, the pricing I think is a a bit high, and the time to deliver a bit slow. Are there any items that you would like to see, or for that matter, not want to see?

Hi Richard. A forum Flag has to be a must! A windproof/showerproof jacket that is not necessarily for cold days unless it has a removable lining, say like a bikers jacket, would be very nice too. Bill.
You only get one body, please it as often as you can! I do.... Morgage free and afloat at last too!

Oh, and as has been said before, forum flags are in big demand at the moment and it's a real shame peeps can't get hold of them.

Just a personal view but I suspect the problem is going to be the capital outlay involved. I know Richard that your original suppliers in the US, I think, produced / printed to order which is not a service so far as I am aware that is readily available in the UK. I did make some initial enquiries about what might be involved in stocking a modest range of forum material including flags but rapidly came to the conclusion that you were looking at some £10,000 plus initial outlay, on top of which some sort of handling charge would need to be added. So small amounts of sales from a limited number of lines was going to put the end cost up beyond what was acceptable. It might be that forum patches, transfers and woven badges that could be attached to proprietary garments etc. might be a way forward and certainly so far as clothing is concerned would avoid the need to maintain stock in all sorts of sizes.

FLAGS!!!!! I see other clubs afloat proudly displaying their flags, we have easily the potential to be the biggest club afloat showing our flag whether private or hire I'd like to change ours from the square to the pennant shape. Jason at LBB wants a 'Big One' for his shed, we need a 'Big One' to fly a forum meets too imho Aclepob has just recently stated that he has no more flags in stock and will not be doing anymore orders So we have no supply of new flags at all now. Car/Van sticikers would be nice too, might even put one on the Tiger. And how about a supply of Business type cards from say 'VistaPrint' with breif details of the NBF, we could hand those out to folk that show an interest unlike at present where I'm forever writing out the details on scraps of paper.
