Hi all,

A few people have made new logins, most probably due to the fact that they have forgotten their password, others cos they think it will be fun to have two logins.

IF you have forgotten your password click the login button (above last 24 hours), this then brings up the login screen (down a bit and not the one most of us use at the top of each page).

Below the login is a link for forgotten passwords, click the link and enter the email address that you registered with.

Your login name/password will be emailed to you.

HTH

Just another thought, if you change email addresses from the one that you registered with please update it in Preferences otherwise your requested details wont get to you.

Keith, please keep up mate,

Once they are logged in they wont need their password to update their preferences cos they are already logged in. Then they will be able to receive their emails with their password to enable logon as they have already updated their preferences.

I'll put it down as you hadnt thought through what you were saying before you said it LOL

Gary "Once they are logged in they won't need their password to update their preferences cos they are already logged in" but if they have forgotten their password, they won't already be logged in. Smile  Therefore they won't be able to update their preferences to ensure that they receive the email with their password to be able to login to update their preferences to ensure they receive their password. Smile  I had already thought through what you were saying, before you wrote it  Playful Wink

I think I understand where Keith is coming from.  Assuming you have not changed your E-mail address then I quite understand that going to the Log In window and hitting the ‘forgot it button’ and entering your E-mail address will prompt an automated response sending you the user name and password you registered.

If however you use a different (new) E-mail address how does the system / hamster know who you are because it’s not an address linked to any password or user name or are you saying it knows your machine and works from that?  Surely in such circumstances you would have to start afresh if you cannot access the old e-mail inbox?

Bill,

I totally understood where Keith was coming from and hopefully Keith could see where I was coming from too LOL

If all else fails, email Richard or myself and we will sort it out for you.
