Hi All,

Looking for some advice on my Broom Gemini. It currently has a 4hp 2stroke on it which seems to vibrate like mad and doesn't have enough umph, so I'm looking to get something bigger, around 25hp I reckon and 4 stroke.

Does anyone know what length outboard the Geminis should have? I have read sites which state short and then others say long. Help!

Any advice would be great

Hi rule of thumb excavation plate should be just below transom or keel. John

Good afternoon, just seen this , Broom Gemini is a short shaft (16"), rated to 50hp 2 Stroke, I have a 30hp 4 stroke on mine, it is happy to tootle around or 29 and a bit mph on Breydon Water. Cheers

Ian
