Hi all,

Quite new to boating and have recently purchased a boat which we believe is an ex broads cruiser made by "Norfolk Knights"?

Its a 44ft x 12ft boat and if any of you clever folk have any idea about it's origins or identity I would be really interested to hear. Picture attached.

Is this like the aqua fibre hull Herbert Woods built on, adventuring lights or adventuresses, there was one that looked like you could land a helicopter on somewhere, used to see it at Barton now and then. Very commodious looking vessel and doesn’t need to be driven hard to command a presence!

So in this picture the stern is the left side and now the right side

I did some more digging and thanks to something a helpful member posted a while back I think it’s a “Carribean Super 6 Class” which I found on this site - http://fbwilds.horning.org.uk/page6.html

I think it has had some modifications over the years but I can see the resemblance plus is has the dual steering extra that was offered

Looking at the hull shape at the bow, it looks more like a modified Foster 45. Like the Carribean though, it lacks the step-up deck. What your boat called?

Hi Steve,

It's called the "Louisiana Lady" - I'm not sure if this is the original name or not as the last owners were not very savvy on any information.

It has a cathedral hull - I have attached a few more pictures from when it was in a nice condition - we are going to get the boat back to this condition as it was lovely.
