Need a few more details or better still some pics. It could be any number of boats, quite a few small clinker built sailing boats of this size were built over the years.

Ok , thanks for the response . I presume they dont make them anymore or if they do , they are fibreglass .Dont know if the sails are available either . No idea when it may have been made . Ive looked at images on google but no date .  Elanco is on the plate so presume this is the Manufacturer .
I will try to post some photos soon .thanks again .

Sounds like you have a Landamores' Lapstrake dinghy, there were two models, a 12ft version and a 9ft 6ins version

Elanco was the trading name of E.C.Landamore - they produced the Vesta, Vestella and Velanda models, together with Snow Goose. Unfortunately I don't have any illustrations of the Lapstrake dinghies

I suggest speaking to Jeckells in Wroxham (Hoveton) about replacement sails

This sounds similar to Landamores 'Bitten class" dingy's , which were gunter rigged.  You are of course in an area where wooden boats are still built! Not of course in any great numbers, but should you want one (at a price) I'm sure people here will tell you where to go. Or ask these guys. https://broadlandboatbuilders.co.uk
