We owned this boat some years ago and I often wonder if it is still around. I last saw it ten years ago up for sale at a Thames yard and was later told it had gone back to the Broads for restoration. It last appears to have been registered in 2007 so it doesn't look good does it.

Venus still lives!

I bought the boat late last year with restoration due to start in Spring this year. Lots to do but salvageable! She’s as she left the Thames complete with Morris side valve engine. Not been afloat since...

If you have any history on Venus it would be much appreciated.

Many thanks,
Dominic
