Now i am pretty sure L76 is the same boat as J476, as all the boats are built in 1974 and an L prefix is 1976 and there is no sign of J476 even on Craigs site, will have to go on the boat and check the underneath of the draws as the original name will still be written there.

Gary, I don't believe J476 ever existed, I now have the BA lists 1989-95 and it isn't listed - my only source for this registration is the Spotter's Guide which does have a number of errors in it, this is yet another one! According to the BA, Diamond Ensign was indeed L76 - this is not a reregistration, just the last Crystal Emblem to be built and I guess slightly over a year after number 4! Craig

ZTD, May not be a part of your thread, but here goes anyway. I was at Gloucester Docks this week and spotted B239 an Ernest Collins Bourne 35 what fun boat spotting is. Takes me back to my train spotting days, last week.

Hi new to this today. Just to let people know we are the owners of j25 little sprit now birthed at beccels. We have had the boat for 3 years and she has had £10000 extensive refit inside and out. She is in process of having a new hydaulic drive unit. So hopefully see you on the water in spring.
