I'm only about 6 miles from Gunthorpe, if the weather improves will hop on the bike and have a scout around. If not will jump in the car at the weekend. Will keep you posted.. Smile

You'll need a keen eye as the superstructure has changed somewhat with round windows in the cabin sides, possibility of the wheelhouse roof now being a permanent fixture due to it being used as a liveaboard. Not sure if she still retains her name of Carousell or the reg Number R643. The new owner has had her for 3 - 4 years now and is a retired joiner by all accounts so things may have moved on again somewhat.

A trip for me on the Tiger meeting you there may be possible?

Griff, if you do go on the Tiger, beware of those yellow boxes on stalks alongside the A614 and A6097 through Sherwood Forest.

Hi Geof

The wooden topped Powles 40 on Craig's style listing is "Monaco", taken in 1995 when with Hearts Cruisers (owned by Richardsons at the time).

I can certainly scan a larger copy of the photo of it's of interest.

All the best

Dan
