Built? Moulding from A.F. and topped and fitted out by the old NBYC probably at the old Compass Craft yard in Horning. There is one of their's which although a standard length is wider in the beam and a very nice boat as a result.

hi bill, i hired a viceroy from NBYC in the very early 70's and i am sure they were then based in wroxham, somewhere near to what is now roy's diy dept or where smith's run from. any idea when they moved from horning, i remember an elderly couple running the yard. p s my broom skipper was 30 x 10ft 6 in alan
tell me where i am pilot, not where i should be

The Viceroys were built when NBYCo was in Hoveton - in those days NBYCo was based where Geo.Smiths are now (Smiths were based where Brinks daylaunches are now). Viceroy 3 was built in (or for) the 1975 season

Hi Craig According to your website history, NBYCo made 2 Viceroy IIIs. One, 1975 J625, and one 1979 M142. J625 was sold in 1979. The one I am talking about is M142 previously called Zigeuner and now re-named, Krysella II. This is the boat that I am trying to trace the history of. Thanks Beely

Oops forgot that complication - however, NBYCo were still in Hoveton in 1979, but I'm afraid I don't know what happened to her between their ownership and becoming Zigeuner - I'll add her new name to the database, do you know when it changed?
