A few years ago, while researching the history of the Broads yacht Salamander (formerly named Water Rat, I found this lovely old picture of her in 1910, a year after her launch.
I think she stayed in hire until the late 1920s, with the name change being made in about 1923/4.
I also enclose an entry from a hire catalogue of the day.

I tried to send two pics at the same time and ending up sending the wrong one first.
Here's the pic of Water Rat a year after she was launched in 1909.

Bill

I haven't actually got the 1923 Blakes catalogue. The only old ones I have are the  recent reprints of the 1916 and 1947 catalogues.
However, when I was researching Salamander's history I phoned Blakes and asked if they had any old brochures. A very helpful member of staff then went through every brochure from about 1910 to 1928 and sent me photostat copies of any useful entries for Water Rat showing how her name changed in 1923/4 and how she was taken out of hire in about 1928.
