After a 2 year break, Anne and I have just returned from a beautiful week aboard Weymouth Light. Music played by myself on my Yamaha Tyros5 keyboard. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWpullT_a9E

Hi Malcolm, Yes it was a great boat, the only problem we found was there were no opening windows next to the helm to assist with mooring up, especially with stern on moorings.

After a great drive from Lancashire, and a stop at Ivy's farm shop for brunch (recommended) at Swineshead we arrived at Herbert Woods at 13.30. The boat (Weymouth Light) was ready for us and we soon set off for South Walsham for our first night Next day we cruised to Coltishall for an overnight stop. Next morning we cruised back to Wroxham looking out for otters and Kingfishers but saw none. The moorings before the bridge are taped off so we moored at the Staithe. After a bit of shopping at Roy's we had a chippy lunch at Ken's (Yum), then the pilot took us back through the bridge!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTDwB85HBbw Women and cats do as they please..Men and dogs better get used to the idea!

After dropping off the pilot we quickly went and filled up with water at Faircraft Loynes and then had another wonderful sunny cruise down the Bure, up the Ant, under Ludham Bridge to overnight at Neatishead. The following day was up river to Wayford Bridge with a visit to the farm shop and lunch at the Wayford Bridge Inn. Overnight was at Ranworth Staithe with a very good walk the following morning with lunch at the Malsters. (2 pints of San Miguel was £9.50..argghhh). Leaving Ranworth we headed for Womack Water (Ludham) but the staithe was full so we moored in the dyke just back past Hunters yard. For our final full day we went down to Acle and had lunch in the Bridge Inn before heading back to Potter Heigham to moor up on our final night in Herbert Woods yard ready for an early up and off the next day. Great holiday. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFkTjTeaWi0
