Yesterday we cruised up to Beccles Yacht Station and found our favourite spot full ! So we moored on the none electric side as we didn't need to plug in, we can go for days without shorepower as our 225watt solar panel supplies us with enough power to be off grid for ages! It was a nice spot but beware of mooring under the big tree, birds live up in it and poo rather a lot Gasp  meaning a big clean up in the morning!

Well we were going to spend a couple of nights at the Yacht Station, but we got a phone call from one of our two Estat Agents, I was about to tell them OK show them round yourselves, when they said non no good news the buyer has now got a closed chain behind him and has made an offer! So we made our offer on the place we want in Sheringham and it was accepted!

The but for the boating it was the end as you need to come into the office Friday, so we've spent the day cruising back from Beccles to our moorings in Brundall.

We are off up to Sheringham tomorrow morning, then back to the boat and off out again!

We ARE GOING TO GET some boating time over the weekend and next week whatever, follow the story here Playful Wink .

Kind regards, John(Captain
Joshie), Jo & Toby.

Hi TT Dave

No we like Beccles, but as we have to be up in Sheringham tomorrow we are back at Brundall now, driving up to Sheringham via Stalham first thing in the morning.

Then back to Brundall and the boat when we've finished in Sheringham, probably stick local Bramerton Saturday and Surlingham Ferryhouse for Sunday lunch, then we'll wing it from there for the rest of the week!

Good luck with the house.   Can be a stressful time at the best,   hope it now gets on with it and you can be in for (dare I say it) Christmas and then settled in and ready for another year on the boat.

Hi All

Well we did our round trip up to Sheringham and sorting out the house purchase, it's now in the hands of the Solicitors so fingers crossed  Scared .

Did the 'new route' from Sheringham to the boat which involved using the NDR from the airport round to Postwick. What a rubbish design of the roundabouts, two lane road (NDR) crossing mostly single lane roads opening up to four lanes on the roundabouts! Meaning you have to cut across a lane to exit the roundabout! They need to rethink that one and quickly.

Got back to Braveheart mid afternoon and settled down for a relax. Had a pleasant evening just chilling on the moorings.

Set off this morning and cruised up to Bramerton, quite a few already moored up and we couldn't get on the power post end, but don't really need to plug in anyway.

It's jolly nice here in the warm autumnal sunshine, very peaceful indeed.

Tomorrow we have booked a mooring at the Surlingham Ferryhouse and will behaving Sunday lunch there with the entertainment later in the day/evening.

We are going to cut short our boating week and return to our moorings early, Monday morning, as we feel we really need to start sorting out things at home otherwise we may start to run out of time!

I'll let you know how it is at the Surlingham Ferryhouse later, bound to be all good though  Playful Wink  with their Sunday roasts Cheers.

John.

Hi John and Jo
Nice chatting to you at Somerleyton. Very pleased to hear that your house sale is going well. We are at home now just about to set off to the caravan for a couple of days. Much colder here than in Norfolk! Good luck with the move.

Regards Pauline

Sounds good John, hope everything works out well with the house sale. It was a great weekend, we didn’t make Beccles, with the tidal range being so high we decided the River wall at Beccles wasn’t the place to be so we opted for the floating platform at Oulton. Weather was great and the Rivers quiet, it was a stunning weekend.
