Hi Geoff With windscreen and canopy lowered Dazzling Light will pass under Ludham, and you don't need to worry about whether its lower water or not - its only very high boats that this applies to, fortunately for you your boat's not one of them! Enjoy! Dan

Geoff, Potter to Sutton Staithe is about 3.5 - 4 hours so is possible if you get the boat on time. I forgot to mention before, but if you get down to The Waveney River centre in your travels the landlord at The Waveney Inn, Nigel Martin, a very nice guy, also hails from Liverpool. Keith

Hi Geoff I rarely moor at Sutton, so I'm sure other members can give you better advice on this one, although I think you may be right...there's not loads of moorings there so they may be full by you got there as its full season, although the impression I get is moorings are a bit easier this year so may be ok? I can't be sure, but isn't there a boatyard at Sutton as well, if so you should be OK for mooring there as hireboats can moor for free in any Blakes or Hoseasons hireyards. The Sutton Staithe Hotel does also have quite a good beer garden and play area with obstecle course for the kids. Keith

I think it's in the Line Azurro thread, JC who owns Line Azurro has made the moorings at Marina Quays free to everyone, hire and non hire. A nice gesture as he is no longer connected with Blakes hire agency. Keith

Marina Quays is just before the 24hr moorings in Great Yarmouth and in fact slightly closer to the Greyhound Stadium. Keith

Hi Geoff, Hi Keith Sutton Staithe Boatyard haven't ran their hirefleet for a few years now, so that additional mooring opportunity doesn't still exist I'm afraid Dan
