Hi all it was my wife Junes 50th birthday on Tuesday 23rd december as a special surprise i had booked a couple of days in the Moorhen b&b at Horning. Monday morning came around and my wife heard our son getting up for work, she quickly shook me and said get up youve overslept. My reply to this was not going. WHAT, was the reply, why. Cannot be bothered came my reply. WHY. Well you know its your birthday tomorrow well your off to the broads to celebrate it. Am I came a much softer reply, really. Yes says I. What about work. Got that sorted. So excitedly she got ready and we shot off down to norfolk, had two really nice days. Christine and David at the Moorhen were brill two great hosts and accomodation was spot on with a cracking breakfast. Of course no trip to the broads is quite complete without a trip on the water so there we were two fifty year olds on the santa special with all the kids (it was fun really). We took the last sailing so we could see the properties lit with their Christmas lights. It was amazing how many holiday lets were occupied. We also had to have a trip up the tower at St Helens at Ranworth earie to see the broads with no boats moving about just the odd one or two. Anyway we had two great days and here are a few pics we took.

Happy Birthday June.

Due to cutbacks, the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off.
