Thanks for this new thread Richard - timing brilliant, just trying to prepare my list for next week on the broads! Cheers

Couple of things to add, I saw tea... I would need coffee.
Corkscrew (forgotten that before) but no bottles of wine? (don't normally forget those!)

Other useful item, that I must remember where I hid it, is the rubber mallet for getting the rond anchor into the bank easily & quietly.

Sure there must be many other items that others will think of...... Playful

Having said I'm planning for next week (we're counting the days for the anti stress feeling of the broads which normally starts within 5mins of leaving the boatyard)...
Are there any/many others on the water next week?

A few suggestions (things to think about rather than essentials) some of which have been done:

Bottled Water
Cola
Nibbles (Olives, Nuts..)
Biscuits
Sweets
A tempting supply of red and white wines
Chutney/pickle?
Pickled onions (garners pickled shallots)
Baked Beans (for emergencies...)
Anchovies/olives/etc

Torch
Chargers, adapters
Light cord (I think Sailors will understand)
Tools (no, not a full socket set and trolley jack - but maybe a screwdriver)
Knife
Binoculars
Waterproofs
Carriers (never underestimate the versatility of the Tesco Carrier Bag)
First Aid Kit
Barbecues
Gloves
Sunscreen (Yes!)
Sunglasses
Life Jackets (if you have your own)
Cheque Book
WD40 (for the furler, maybe...)
Brillo
Washing Up Liquid (Ecover?)
Maps
Books

Don't forget your cameras guys!!!

What about your wind up torches too!  Saves batteries & chargers which is good as we don't have anywhere to charge!!!!

PL - Garners!!!!! The MOST essential item apart from Garners pickled eggs!!!

One good thing is that if any of us see each other while we are there then what one has forgotten to pack, the other will have!

See you all on the Broads soon.
