A question for the forum head honchos. Do we have a provisional date for next years main site meet?

Unfortunately some of us need to plan our lives that far in advance if we are to have any chance of securing a boat and getting the time off to be there. Having looked at some of the phots really want to get there next year!

Good thought, Taylorgang.
Count me in for next year & I am willing to do some of the hard work.

One plea.

I know this is personal but...

I've only got two pairs of waterproof trousers  Blush

...and one pair was at Glastonbury. Playful

Now, given that said trousers are likely to be requisitioned again, once I have removed the layers of clay...could we take into account that it ALWAYS p*&&£s it down on the Glastonbury weekend and save me from living in one pair all weekend...squalid or what?

It might be worth avoiding Wimbledon too....  Playful

I think the organisers might just need chance to sit back, dry out, chill out and relax a bit before putting their heads on for next year!  Smile

Hope Steve doesn't mind me saying this!

Pauline - perhaps we should have had a stall SELLING waterproofs, once we realised the forecast! Could have increased the Charity Fund even more!

In some respects I think the rain was a good thing.....it forced people to huddle together under the tents....and therefore socialize more.

Now...as to the amount of rain we had.....  Mad

Too right! I heard that wellies were going for £85 a pair at Glastonbury. Smile

Whoa!

£3k - Thats an awful lot of new boaty bits and pieces!(or a new tender with outboard... or a shiny blue canopy  and matching winter cover... or new upholstery...or...) Why didn't she just get somebody to glue a few diamantes on for her!?

Daft question I s'pose...

Karen...even you and Sue on a mission would be hard-pressed to spend £3k on shoes! Unless of course, you two made the trip to Meadowhall an all-day affair...  Playful
