hi all ,was sitting in the doctors the other day and while waiting to go in and see the quack, i remebered the other year that me and vicky had to find a doctors surgury. i looked in the what to do on the norfolk broads book ,but none was listed in there . luckly a local at sutton where was moored said there was one in stalham, so was able to make an emergency appointment for vicky and get her sorted .
so can any of you broads locals put on the site your doctors surgries address and phone no's please so i can put a copy on our boat for future reference please and for our other site members who visit the broads ,
thank you    Smile

steve and vicky

Good point but not just doctors perhaps? Optitions, Dentists proper chemists. We are to have them all in Loddon. Beccles still has a cottage hospital which does limited A&E work. Smile

I know you knew what you were doing, dear, but you still hit the other boat! Bill...

And for Wroxham/ Hoveton, yon Doctors has been moved for a coupla years to

Stalham Road, Hoveton, Norwich, Norfolk, NR12 8DU
Tel: 01603 782155

About a mile into Hoveton (heading away from Wroxham ) up the main Norwich road! Smile  Nice! They have a dispensary, but there is a chemist  in the Dept. Store of Roys in Hoveton!

Apparently (According to the NHS website) the number also applies to Horning and Salhouse, but it doesn't make much sense! I'll let you make up your own minds about the validity! Smile

The Doctor's surgery in Ludham is in Staithe Road. From Womack, go into the middle of the village and turn left into Staithe Road (by the side of the Church).

Phone number is 01692 678611

I think a list of Doctors, chemists dentists is a very good idea but as quite a lot of people take their pets perhaps we should add the local vets as well
