During my recent, and delightful, visit to the Broads, I was pleased , and surprised, to see Gypsy Maid 1 at Wayford Bridge. My first holiday on the Broads was in 1955 on Gypsy Maid 2 from Easticks Yacht Station ay Acle. The contrast in boats was significant! This year our boat, from Royalls, had all the "mod cons" and was beautifully presented. We were just two persons on a 42 foot luxury cruiser. Gypsy Maid 2 was just 23 ft by, about, 8ft 6ins, but her magic has hooked me to the Broads for the last 50 years or so. Does anyone know what became of the lovely Gypsy Maid B141?
