Hi - just wanted to thank everyone for their help. A week or so ago, I asked for recommendations for hiring a boat............to which I received some much appreciated words of wisdom!! We are now booked - HORRAH - so thanks again - and we look forward to seeing you all in August!
The noose tightens closer we'll have to have another talk. In all seriousness if you are a complete newbie do have a word beforehand with your yard. If you are uncertain we would all prefer you to come back on the first night and stop over and quietly we can go through everything all over again. If you didn't get it first time that was probably our for not explaining it right.
Here's plenty of room before the bridge to get the screen down Bill...
Mmmmm - I'll have a to have a think about it - but really we are just looking forward to meandering around.....relaxing.... taking in what we are sure will be beautiful scenery, going for walks, may be visiting a few pubs.......nice food and drinks........but any suggestions would be gratefully received..
Before I get a good slap round the chops by those in power on here for going on about hireboats too much......thought best post you a pic of your boat to get you in the holiday mood like I have for others.
She looked a very smartly presented craft when we cruised past last July............
