well we'll be in wroxham June 24, and hopefully stokesby june 25, after that it's up to the wind gods and those ever moving mudbanks. We would really love to meet as many members as possible.

That weekend is Ludham Open Gardens and Charter fair. I will be tied up with all that stuff as (I think anyway) my garden will be open. So feel free to drop in. Nigel Ludham

Chances are that this pizza lover and his crew won't be there... but I did have this idea. Why not rent a couple of half-deckers, choose a convenient spot, and set up a few races... no, not between the sailors - between the smokers. I'd propose the rental of two day boats with sailors on board, but that won't be any fun. My vision is of two teams of smokers racing it out, with an audience watching. That has to be worth watching.

Sounds like a great plan to me, at the moment our plans are up in the air. I know will be in Wroxham June 24 and at the Ferry Stokesby on the 25th

No burning of diesel lovers intended. It was just a joke idea that they have a go at sailing, with an audience.

Ah - I like "backwards" I was wondering how to even things up. So how does this sound (it's only a joke)... Put WindyTypes on cruisers and make them do the course in reverse. Put DieselTypes on yachts and make them do the course any way they please. Maybe we can get the BBC to cover it?
