The guy who took us through the bridge yesterday and today at wroxham is one of the nicest people I've met down on the broads tells you how to do things better shows you how to try and moor and had a really good chat with him this morning but mostly is just a nice guy really good to have someone like him working on the broads.
I`m not aware of a special mooring, (Having a private boat, I don`t actually use this service) but if you approach the moorings where the dayboats are kept, if it`s not correct, I`m sure you`ll soon be directed to a more suitable place for taking the Pilot on board.
I believe that the place is staffed from about 08:30 to 18:00 in season, but not sure what arrangements are made out of season. More information from Russell Marine who operate the dayboats and Pilot service: Tel: 01603-270262 or e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
