Hi all.. congratulations on what appears to be a fine site. I am looking to relocate myself, my business and my boat to the Broads from Kent and am hoping that someone may be able to recommend some reasonably priced moorings from which I could base myself whilst searching for suitable business premises and living accomodation.
As I am aiming to stay overnight on the boat once or twice a week until I find what I'm looking for, a reasonable standard of facilities would be beneficial.
Also, could anyone tell me if i would need the BSS certificate prior to mooring on the Broads if i wasn't aiming on cruising until the boat was prepared and tested?..many thanks for your time.

regards
Trevor

hi trevor
reading your message, and there are moorings at connoisseur cruisers or the old name porter + haylett at wroxham ,i take it the picture at the side of your message is your boat if so it's a nice size to get under the bridge next to the yard ,and the mooring fees are good .there's plenty of help at hand at the yard.if your interested you can email me or click on the chat room later and give you more details
cheers
Smile

From the information throught the post today with my license renewals,(if I have read it right) it states that "at the moment" all private boats will require BSS to get taxed, but at the moment it is not law and so is only a recommendation.
