Heard on the radio last night that a very high tide was expected on the East Coast.   Did anyone notice the water particularly high?

It was certainly high yesterday PM. I drove past Beccles marina at lunchtime and could see from the bridge that the water was just about up to bank level. And around 3.30-4.00pm, when I went to check my boat had not blown away, there was a good six or seven inches of water over the lane to Coldham Hall pub.

Tides were very high last night and the Norfolk Coast was on flood alert.
Winterton took a beating and the cafe on the dunes is now right on the edge of the cliff.
Bure, Yare and Waveney are still on flood alert.
No floods round here, but it's been raining on and off all day.
