Hi Hawk, I note in Norfolk Afloat that the previous week was predicted to be a week of low high tides, but with a new moon appearing Tomorrow higher, high tides should return for the next week. I guess that combined with a lack of heavy rain has led to a lower water level, although this is only my amatuer guess. Keith

I'm note sure how he does it, but there's a good real time tide calculator at http://www.shorebase.co.uk/broads/tides/broadstides.asp Keith

I collected Woodwose from Horning today (it has been in for its BSS). When I got back to the moorings at Potter Heigham, the tide was very low and it needed full throttle to get the boat into its boat dock. Just cut a new groove in the mud. I have seen the water this low before, but not for some time now. Nigel Ludham

Hi Hawk, Are you afloat yet I was up at my boat yesterday and the water seemed low, but not as low as it can go. My boat is moored on the Southern side. Keith
