If the weather is good - you will see the broads in its true serenity.... without having to worry about the afternoon mad scramble for moorings! But it is a gamble and can be very cold (good boat heating essential!)... The freezes usually occur just after Christmas in January/February... But a frozen Xmas is not unknown... Some pubs will be shut most won't be... Many pubs will have a real fire burning and become a welcoming and beckoning place!!!

not sure what chritmas is but. we have had lots of broads holidays over CHRISTMAS .and are there this year on MOONHAZE so if you see us give a wave and maybe  we can have a tipple or two cheers ROYA

we always go off season, it is a lot cheaper, and everyone seems a lot more friendly

now what really does worry me, and after all theese years on the broads i still have not figured it out, is how does SANTA get on our boat and leave my pressies, help please??
