I have seen various adverts and exhortations to join a Coordinated horn\siren sounding event for all British boats and ships no matter how big or how small and no matter where they are at noon precisely on the 4 June to commemorate the platinum jubilee. I am pretty sure it is not a wind up and wondered who else was going to join in. Graham Edited because date was wrong.

I think all forum members had better appeal to the BA to have The Broads made exempt from this unruly behaviour. I can just hear it now, all those Stag and Hen parties and god forsake those holiday makers all blasting their horns and cheering. There must be something in the rules and regulations forbidding this. Disturbing the peace and quiet how disgusting.

annville, thanks for supporting me but two of us is not enough to stop it, we need more support. I recon that other members who have said that they come to The Broads for peace and quiet will be joining us soon.

I don't know how old any of you are but an opportunity to blow your horn at my age isn't to be turned away. 70 years YOUR HIGHNESS a wonderful achievement with grace and dignity. Thank you. Kindest regards Marge and Parge
