Hi all
We usually visit Potter by river , or by car to Lathams when we decide to buy a few things we don’t really need lol.
However , later today and for all day tomorrow we need somewhere to park up as we are going under the bridge ( not on Loughrigg!) . We do expect to pay, we are not looking for a free cheeky spot but where can we do that ? - Herbert Woods ? Even if we are not on one of their boats ?
Many thanks for any info , Karen.

Think you will have more luck with lathams. I think they charge for over 3 hours. I would suggest you try ringing them to check. They won't mind whose boat you are on.
I am pretty certain that you can book with Lathams for longer than 3hrs. I think they do a daily fee and probably more than that. May even be a week. There used to be a board at the entrance to the car park that told you the fees and where to enquire.
Women dont nag they just point things out...

Thanks for the replies.
I can confirm that we were able to park in the Lathams long stay car park opposite the store. Mike found the staff really helpful when he enquirer. We paid £10 for all day Sunday.
The sailing was pretty good too!
Our first trip actually going under Potter Bridge!
