If they are on a BA mooring then I would think first point of contact might be BA for the correct answer.

I did email ba and was told reply would be within 10 working days. However they have since got back to me
saying the posts were vandalised a few days ago with sticks being pushed into the sockets and they are awaiting an electrician to repair

Not the first time these posts have had a hit. I may be totally wrong but in this case I suspect the culprit may be far too old for any armed services other than the Home Guard.

Well if that is the case , then I hope the silly old fart electrocutes himself.     Why would anyone with half a brain want to do such a thing.     Have you proof that it is him.

I do recall reference to a grumpy resident at Irstead in the past. However I also seem to remember that he had moved on? No doubt someone will put me right or confirm.

I also remember that his beef was about engines running and overstaying? We were once challenged late morning about when we would be moving off but we pointed out that we had arrived quite late the previous summers evening and as a private boat with nav lights  we could do that. Or was it that we had arrived that morning after passing through Ludham Bridge early. Can’t remember now. Maybe both ! If we are lucky enough to spot a space when passing Irstead we usually do take the opportunity of mooring up and then we go on to Paddy’s Lane the next day.
