Or, are they/have they been removing the no swimming stipulation ? ( I haven't noticed that, it's just me a hazarding a guess at what the BNA might do...) Karen

The No Swimming policy has absolutely no legislation supporting it and wild water swimming is now very popular. Hazard warnings, yes, outright prohibition, no.

Karen your closest, not sure about all moorings yet but on the ones I have visited recently there dosnt appear to be any reference or advice any more regarding the running or non running of engines. I would be interested to hear others observations, it has certainly been less noticeable so far in our experience. Brian

There is no anti swimming ‘stipulation’ as JR has correctly stated. It can be discouraged but not banned, however one supposes it’s only a matter of time before a serious incident occurs and it’s thrown under the microscope.
